Laura is a dancer, choreographer and movement artist who fell into the circus as it swept her off her feet one summer night.

She has been performing internationally in contemporary circus, dance theatre and immersive performance for over 15 years. She loves a playful, creative devising process and specialises in Chinese pole, aerial pole, floorwork and embodied movement practice. Her creative writing has featured in a number of productions and artistic projects.
For 5 years she toured award-winning show Flown with Pirates of the Carabina, and has since worked with NoFit State Circus, National Theatre Wales, and Upswing. She has an ongoing creative relationship with inclusive dance company Humans Move, in Wales and with Bristol’s woodland-based aerial and storytelling company Whispering Woods. Now developing her own work Footprint in the Snow, she is also one half of circus theatre company TrashCat Productions together with Nikki Warwick. They are currently touring their playful outdoor work Street Cat Strut.
Laura graduated from Laban with a BA(Hons) in Dance Theatre before completing a Diploma in Circus Arts at Flic Scuola Di Circo. Now a qualified remedial and sports massage therapist, a student of Body-Mind-Centering, martial arts and partner dance she is committed to evolving a creative and inclusive practice both as an artist and facilitator.
